Standing over 5'11 Empryss is the true picture of a Nigerian Trinidadian American princess. Hailing from the Tri-Sate area- the New York /New Jersey native decided the stage was a part of her world at the early age of 8. From beauty pageants, ballet and school programs, Empryss grasped every opportunity given that had her on the stage.

While cultivating her talents, Empryss learned the business of entertainment through her mother- a professional photographer and entertainment manager/consultant. As a teen, she attended the former Manhattan Theatre Lab High School- located in the heart of Lincoln Center. There she won awards for academics and theatrical performances, received lead roles and graduated with honors.

Continuing in her passion, she left Lehman College to pursue entertainment full time. Working odd jobs afforded her acting classes, headshots, studio time, video shoots and all necessities for supporting her triple threat - acting, rapping and modeling.

Being bold and vibrant, she quickly took to social media to begin building her buzz. Posting pictures, and videos began to pay off with hundreds of views and likes. With an organic fan base totaling over 10K in just over one year, Empryss is on the radar of the next upcoming female rap artist from the New York Tri-State area.

Captivating in sound and on camera, Empryss immediately catches the attention of promoters, casting directors, and other artists. Since her launch of her music career, Empryss has performed in lounges, clubs, community events and stages all over New York City, including Make Music New York, The Shrine (Harlem, NYC), and Sounds of Brazil (SOB's -NYC), Marcus Garvey Park (Harlem, NYC), Manhattan Neighborhood Network (Bea Montgomery variety show – "The Mothership").

While developing her acting career, Empryss receives private coaching and has been casted in the independent film "Gang, Gang, Gang" (Millimittermac Films 2016) as a supporting role and "Afriamericans" (Pilot 2016) as Coco, a lead role.

Empryss continues to develop her sound that commands respect. Her lyrics boast themes of sexuality, love, hurt, fun, women empowerment and her flow mirrors the diverse sounds of her New York Nigerian Trinidadian background.

Her original music "Netflix and Chill" featuring Zori (Blunted Beatz production) and "Empryss" (produced by Derrick Grant) has been released on SoundCloud and is currently being used for promotion.
